This directory lists the latest nationally determined contribution of G20 members as shown in the UNFCCC NDC Registry, with the headline target in the party's own words where the NDC text was read. Under Article 4.9 of the Paris Agreement each party communicates an NDC every five years 6. The EU files one NDC for itself and its 27 member states 1. The United States notified its withdrawal on 27 January 2025 5. Blank cells mean the target was not confirmed from the NDC text.

  • Dates are those shown in the UNFCCC NDC Registry when read in November 2026 1.
  • Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Japan are G20 members whose latest registry entries could not be read for this directory, so they are left out 1.
  • Targets differ in base year, scope and form, so the figures in this table are not directly comparable 2,34.
